    1. I am glad you found some comfort in rereads at least. The Hating Game ♥ I want to get to Sweetbitter soon. Hope you have a lovely December!

    2. Yeah my bad mood was definitely reflecting in my number of books read this month too. I normally don't read so much during a school weeks, but I did this month, because I couldn't handle real life. I love that you re-read so many books.
I see you're looking forward to Someone Like You next month! You better read Stiletto and OXford in order before diving into that one!!! Trust me, it will make the experience much stronger! :)
I hope December is better for you, Eva! Much love! <3

    3. I continue to be in awe of your superhero reading abilities. LOL I am so with you on the Garrett crush. OMG, that guy... swoon! I can see myself rereading that one again and again. But first I need to continue with the rest of the series!

    4. SOMEONE LIKE YOU IS SO GOOD!!! I loved it so much!! The Deal is a total fave and Garrett is still book boyfriend! I need to re-read and finish the Blue Bloods series. I can't remember until which book I got (probably the Misguided Angel or the one before it). You had a good reading month! That's great :)

    5. Things are looking pretty freaking bleak right now, aren't they? It's been so bad I haven't even felt like reading really, in all honesty. I did do a couple rereads that helped a little. Basically I'm just spending time working my way through my Netflix queue though. I lack the attention span to do much else at this point. I do need to bump The Hating Game up on my reading list. I have the audiobook and I've heard nothing but good things so far. Also, I read Someone Like You and it was everything I wanted and more.

      Here's hoping December's a little better...

    6. You read so fast, I'm totally envious. I can't wait to see what you thought of Tell Me Three Things. I was kind of ehhhh about it, but so many people I know loved it.

    7. I've only read 7 books in November, which is kinda low for me. But at least they were all amazing. Only one was three stars, the rest all five!

    8. I reread The Hook Up last month too. And Bet Me. And I want to reread The Deal this month and I;m re-reading Someone Like You right now. This is why I've only read 100 books this year, I can't stop rereading but oh well.
I hope you read the Stiletto and Oxford series books BEFORE Someone Like You. The best thing about that book was finally seeing the puzzle that was Lincoln. He's such a complex character, you see new glimpses and bits and pieces of his character in each book before and it's just great to see it all put together in his book.
So happy you liked The Hating Game, that book was so freaking fun!

    9. Oh yes I agree....life in the US isn't looking fabulous right now. I just try to be as positive as I can and do things that get me in a good mood and not dwell on the bad because its so depressing. It looks like you read some good ones. I really need to get on The Hating Game. I did LOVE Breaking Point --so dang good. I love the whole series though. I think I would have a hard time deciding which one is my favorite because there are so many fun characters. And The deal was one of my first NA books and I just love it.

    11. 23 is still a great amount Eva! And there's nothing better than re-reads to cheer me up, I always turn to books by Meg Cabot for that. I'm thrilled to see Garrett made it to your fictional crush of the month, he definitely had me swooning a few months back too! Also are you planning on reading Layne's Stiletto series then her Oxford series, because we can buddy read them if you want to! And I can't wait to read The Hating Game, I will be starting it as soon as I've finished my current read! I hope you have a great week Eva! :)

    12. What a fantastic reading month! 23 books?!?! I'm doing good to get 6 read! I have also been consumed with the move and stressed over that. I just want to turn on Netflix and crawl in bed in the evenings. I do have some Christmas reads I am looking forward to, though!

    15. Books are a great comfort when we need it. I love The Hating Game and glad you did, too! I'm looking forward to Walk into Silence. I have you to thank for putting it on my radar, so I grabbed it up with my Amazon first pick last month!

I love this trope, sub-genre, setting: My Best Friend's Brother/My Brother's Best Friend

I Love This Trope, Sub-Genre, Setting is a new feature on my blog in which I discuss a trope, sub-genre or setting that I love and tell you about books that are shining examples of said trope, sub-genre or setting.  Feel free to play along and please let me know about your favorite books in this realm and whether you like this trope, sub-genre and/or setting as much as I do! Today I am spotlighting the trope of:  My Best Friend's Brother/My Brother's Best Friend , which I would define as any book where the heroine either has a crush on or falls for her brother's best friend or her best friend's brother. I have to confess that I love this trope in nearly all of its iterations!  I have a younger brother so I never got to crush on any of his friends but it's fun reading about that and it's equally as fun as reading about falling for your best friend's brother -- instant sisters!  I know there are a ton

Conversations With Myself (& Hopefully You): ARC Greed

This discussion is inspired by my feelings lately when reading and reviewing ARCs versus the feelings I had when I requested those same ARCs: ARC GREED ARC greed -- have we all experienced this?  What I even mean by this term is that I sometimes feel overwhelmed when looking at Netgalley and Edelweiss and  I sometimes over-request, if only because I can!  I get greedy when I see all the new and shiny ARCs available and I will sometimes request things that have even a hint of interest for me, not necessarily focusing only on those books that I really, really want.  The problem with this over-requesting and with getting greedy with requesting (and receiving) ARCs is when it comes time to read and review these ARCs.  Last month and this month, I have looked at my ARCs with a release date in each respective month and I just haven't wanted to read any of them.  I need to start asking myself -- If I was immediately approved for this ARC, would I read it right thi
