Waiting on Wednesday: Seducing Lauren (Love Under the Big Sky #2) by Kristen Proby

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that you are eagerly anticipating.

Today, I am waiting on Seducing Lauren (Love Under the Big Sky #2)
by Kristen Proby!

In the second book in the Love Under the Big Sky series from this USA TODAY bestselling author of the With Me in Seattle series, life in Montana gets spicy when a woman and her divorce lawyer sign off the papers—and sign on to love.

Now that his best friend, Josh, has happily settled down with his true love on a Montana ranch, small-town lawyer Ty Sullivan starts thinking that maybe single life isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. And when Lauren Cunningham’s no-good ex-husband comes after her for an unexpected trust fund, Ty steps in to protect her. But soon he can’t help but think of her as more than a client. Lauren’s in no mood to jump into another relationship, so how can Ty convince her that her mistake wasn’t getting married, but marrying the wrong guy?
I absolutely loved the first book in the series, Loving Cara!  I love the Montana setting and I can't wait for Ty's story -- we got some hints in the first book!  Seducing Lauren is scheduled for release on August 19, 2014, and you can pre-order HERE.

What books are you waiting on this Wednesday??

Blog Tour & Review: Forever Your Heart (Beside Your Heart #3) by Mary Whitney

Forever Your Heart (Beside Your Heart #3)
by Mary Whitney

Blurb from Goodreads:

I’m a journalist—Adam Kincaid, BBC reporter, to be exact, so I’m not going to bury the lead. I’m about to see the woman I never got over.

I know that because I’ve been back in America for years now, and I still don’t date American girls. My dad would say I’ve come to my senses, sticking to my own British patrician kind, but that’s crap. Mum, the psychologist, would more wisely say it’s my unresolved issues around Nicki. My teenage years are long behind me, yet my guilt over her remains. So I’ve avoided all things Nicki, though the irony is she’s the one avoiding me.

Maybe if we see each other, we can both move on. Could she ever forgive me? Can you forgive yourself when you hurt someone you love?

But please, don’t answer yet. I’ve jumped ahead of the story, and as a reporter, I should give you more background to get to the root of it all.

So let me tell you my story. Then you can be the judge.
My Review:

I am a HUGE Mary Whitney fan and every time I come into possession of one of her books I tell myself that I will not stay up all night reading.  And yet, that's what happens every time!  If I start one of her books, I literally cannot put it down until I finish it.  Forever Your Heart was no different.  I loved the conclusion to the series and Adam's POV.  This is first series I've read by Mary Whitney and it was a perfect progression.  The first book, Beside Your Heart, takes place when the characters are in their teens and were able to spend one perfect year together during high school.  I won't give away any spoilers but I will say book 2, Disclosure of the Heart, is a fast forward to the present.  Book 3, Forever Your Heart, has parts of Books 1 and 2 from Adam's POV and also new scenes and the ultimate conclusion of the series.  It was perfect!  I could not love Nicki and Adam more and this book made their love seem even stronger for me.  As always, I am counting the days until I get to read Mary Whitney's next book, whenever that might be!  Maybe a Sylvia spin-off?!

I highly, highly recommend this to anyone that likes contemporary romances even if you don't like politics.  The politics are in the background and this is truly a long time coming, lots of obstacles, pure and perfect romance!
"By the time we reached my room, though, the bed had become obsolete. We kissed along the way, and I couldn’t get our clothes off fast enough. When Nicki was naked, I had to listen to her usual nonsense about her body. Women will never learn that men are simply happy that they’re naked. After I told Nicki she wasn’t allowed to criticize a body I loved, she rewarded me with a forceful kiss. I grabbed her bum, and she kissed me again with a giggle before jumping up and wrapping her legs around me."
This book is scheduled to be released today, April 8, 2014, and you can purchase here!!

Author Bio
Mary Whitney blames Laura Ingalls Wilder and Margaret Mitchell for her obsession with romance novels. At an early age, Mary fell in love with the Little House series and its dreamy hero, Almanzo Wilder, who only wanted Laura to be Laura. Like many women, Mary later graduated to the ultimate, tall and dark bad boy, Rhett Butler, who loved Scarlett despite her flaws.

Mary has lived around the U.S., and after a first career in the non-profit world and politics, she's settled in Northern California with her husband and daughters. She spends her days writing characters she hopes somehow capture the romance of Rhett and Scarlett and Almanzo and Laura. She's a firm believer in what Rhett says to Scarlett: "You should be kissed, and often, and by someone who knows how.
