Waiting on Wednesday: Defending Taylor (Hundred Oaks) by Miranda Kenneally

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that you are eagerly anticipating.

Today, I am waiting on:
Defending Taylor (Hundred Oaks) by Miranda Kenneally

From Goodreads:
Taylor’s always felt pressure to be perfect. That’s what happens when you are a senator’s daughter. So when she’s kicked out of private school for covering for her boyfriend’s not-so-legal behavior, she is devastated.

Things go from bad to worse as she joins what used to be her rival soccer team at Hundred Oaks High. The only person who seems to understand all that she’s going through is her older brother’s best friend, Ezra. But Ezra has secrets of his own. Will Taylor repeat past mistakes, or can she score a fresh start?
I love love love this series and I can't wait for this book, in particular, since I played soccer for 15 years!  Defending Taylor is scheduled for release on July 1, 2016, and I can't wait!

What books are you waiting on this Wednesday??

  7. I've only read one book by Kenneally (not realizing it was part of a series). I picked up Breathe, Annie, Breathe last year and it was so much more than I was expecting. I really loved it. Sounds like this one is right up your alley with the soccer aspect!

  13. I somehow never got back to this series after Catching Jordan- which I had loved, so it looks like I have some catching up to do. Thank you for putting this up on my radar, because I wasn't aware of it, and I do hope to get back to Kenneally's lovely stories. Great pick!

Thank you for sharing and for stopping by my post earlier. Happy reading!

Review: The Lost Letters from Martha's Vineyard by Michael Callahan

The Lost Letters from Martha's Vineyard by Michael Callahan Blurb from Goodreads : A tantalizing novel of two women bound by blood but divided by a long-buried secret, and the island that holds the key to the fateful summer that changed everything forever. In 1959, Hollywood ingenue Mercy Welles seems to have the world at her feet. Far removed from her Nebraska roots, she has crafted herself into a glamorous Oscar-nominated actress engaged to an up-and-coming director… Until she shockingly vanishes without a trace, just as her career is taking off. Almost sixty years later, Kit O’Neill, a junior television producer in Manhattan, is packing up her recently deceased grandmother’s attic, only to discover a long-lost box of souvenirs that reveal that the grandmother who raised her and her sister Claire was, in fact, the mysterious Mercy Welles.
