Top Ten Series I'd Like To Start (but haven't yet...)

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the fab ladies at The Broke and the Bookish!

Ten Series I'd Like To Start But Haven't Yet

  1. Mara Dyer series by Michelle Hodkin (I hear it's wonderful and I have bought the first two books so this should happen soon!)
  2. Too Far series by Abbi Glines (this is the only Abbi Glines series I haven't read yet and, again, I've bought the first two books)
  3. The Grisha series by Leigh Bardugo (keep reading reviews and it sounds so good!)
  4. Covenant series by Jennifer L. Armentrout (you would think this would be a no brainer consider how much I love JLA and the Lux series)
  5. Elemental Assasin series by Jennifer Estep (again, I've bought the first three books in the series and hear it is phenomenal!)
  6. Revenants series by Amy Plum (just bought the first book as kindle deal of the day over the weekend)
  7. Kissed by Death series by Tara A. Fuller (another one I've seen all over the blogosphere but haven't read yet)
  8. His Fair Assasin series by Robin LaFevers (I'm not typically into this genre but saw it on so many top 10 lists last year)
  9. Everneath series by Brodi Ashton (see above #8)
  10. The Perfect Game series by J. Sterling (read Chance Encounters by her and loved it!)
Super excited to be participating in this series/meme on Tuesdays!
Thanks for stopping by!

  11. I need to read The Covenant series, the Grisha series, and His Fair Assassin series too! I love JLA too, but for some reason I am very hesitant to read The Covenant books. No idea why. I just picked up Shadow and Bone the other day. I'm excited to start it. Everyone says it's AH-Mazing!

    1. I feel the same way about the Covenant series -- maybe because I love the Lux series so much I don't want to be disappointed? I don't know but I have been meaning to try it

I love this trope, sub-genre, setting: My Best Friend's Brother/My Brother's Best Friend

I Love This Trope, Sub-Genre, Setting is a new feature on my blog in which I discuss a trope, sub-genre or setting that I love and tell you about books that are shining examples of said trope, sub-genre or setting.  Feel free to play along and please let me know about your favorite books in this realm and whether you like this trope, sub-genre and/or setting as much as I do! Today I am spotlighting the trope of:  My Best Friend's Brother/My Brother's Best Friend , which I would define as any book where the heroine either has a crush on or falls for her brother's best friend or her best friend's brother. I have to confess that I love this trope in nearly all of its iterations!  I have a younger brother so I never got to crush on any of his friends but it's fun reading about that and it's equally as fun as reading about falling for your best friend's brother -- instant sisters!  I know there are a ton
