Top Ten Series I'd Like To Start (but haven't yet...)

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the fab ladies at The Broke and the Bookish!

Ten Series I'd Like To Start But Haven't Yet

  1. Mara Dyer series by Michelle Hodkin (I hear it's wonderful and I have bought the first two books so this should happen soon!)
  2. Too Far series by Abbi Glines (this is the only Abbi Glines series I haven't read yet and, again, I've bought the first two books)
  3. The Grisha series by Leigh Bardugo (keep reading reviews and it sounds so good!)
  4. Covenant series by Jennifer L. Armentrout (you would think this would be a no brainer consider how much I love JLA and the Lux series)
  5. Elemental Assasin series by Jennifer Estep (again, I've bought the first three books in the series and hear it is phenomenal!)
  6. Revenants series by Amy Plum (just bought the first book as kindle deal of the day over the weekend)
  7. Kissed by Death series by Tara A. Fuller (another one I've seen all over the blogosphere but haven't read yet)
  8. His Fair Assasin series by Robin LaFevers (I'm not typically into this genre but saw it on so many top 10 lists last year)
  9. Everneath series by Brodi Ashton (see above #8)
  10. The Perfect Game series by J. Sterling (read Chance Encounters by her and loved it!)
Super excited to be participating in this series/meme on Tuesdays!
Thanks for stopping by!

  10. So many good ones on here! I agree that Jennifer Armentrout is fantastic, and I love the Mara Dyer series. I just read the second book in Leigh Bardugo's Shadow and Bone series, and it's just as great as the first. Hope you get to those soon. Great list! Thanks for checking out mine.

    1. Thank you Lauren - I love your blog so much! I have subscribed to it via e-mail for awhile

Hopefully will read Shadow and Bone soon!!

  11. I need to read The Covenant series, the Grisha series, and His Fair Assassin series too! I love JLA too, but for some reason I am very hesitant to read The Covenant books. No idea why. I just picked up Shadow and Bone the other day. I'm excited to start it. Everyone says it's AH-Mazing!

    1. I feel the same way about the Covenant series -- maybe because I love the Lux series so much I don't want to be disappointed? I don't know but I have been meaning to try it

  12. How could I forget of The Grisha series?! Oh my god, now I see how many series I actually have to stat ^^'

Hope you get to read them soon :)

Thank for stopping by my blog.

    Read Into Hiding

  13. Please please please read Covenant and Mara Dyer soon. Both of those are absolutely fantastic.

  14. I really liked Everneath but it was the sequel that made me fall in love with the series. I loved the first Mara Dyer book but haven't had a chance to read the second yet. I hope you get to read some of these soon! :)

Thanks for stopping by my post!

Megan created this feature and I owe this post to her brilliance.  Not only should you check out her blog, generally, but her This & That recommendations are utterly perfect! Megan created this feature to showcase books that either sound similar or have similar themes, and thus I am recommending that you read the "that book" because you are a a fan of the “this book.”

Review: History of Wolves by Emily Fridlund

History of Wolves by Emily Fridlund

Blurb from Goodreads:
Linda has an idiosyncratic home life: her parents live in abandoned commune cabins in northern Minnesota and are hanging on to the last vestiges of a faded counter-culture world. The kids at school call her 'Freak', or 'Commie'. She is an outsider in all things. Her understanding of the world comes from her observations at school, where her teacher is accused of possessing child pornography, and from watching the seemingly ordinary life of a family she babysits for. Yet while the accusation against the teacher is perhaps more innocent than it seemed at first, the ordinary family turns out to be more complicated. As Linda insinuates her way into the family's orbit, she realises they are hiding something. If she tells the truth, she will lose the normal family life she is beginning to enjoy with them; but if she doesn't, their son may die. Superbly-paced and beautifully written, HISTORY OF WOLVES is an extrao…
