I liked this a lot except it got a bit fantastical toward the end. The actual ending was good nad left the possibility for a future book with some of these characters? I'm definitely not opposed. This was much more domestic drama rather than anything mysterious or psychological -- no big twist -- but still fun. Perfect for summer, give this a try!
I leave everything behind. My phone, wallet. No identification. Just my body in today's clothes. If he shoots me, I want it to be a mystery. If I bleed out in their backyard, I want them to have to hash out who the fuck I am. Because she will know. She blocked me. And now I have no choice except to scale over her security fence in the rain, the idiot main character scrambling to get the girl. To prove a point. To beg her to leave him, to move on with me. Take a leap. See what happens. It's a bad idea.
