Waiting on Wednesday: Eligible: A Modern Retelling of Pride and Prejudice by Curtis Sittenfeld

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that you are eagerly anticipating.

Today, I am waiting on:
Eligible by Curtis Sittenfeld

From Goodreads:
Lizzy Bennett is smart, beautiful, witty, successful—a high-powered magazine editor in New York—but when her father falls ill, she and her sister Jane return to Ohio and the home they thought they’d left behind forever. There, the thirty-somethings find their family in chaos: sisters Kitty and Lydia are wild over the Cincinnati Bengals, the city’s football team; Mary is becoming a rabbi (even though the Bennetts aren’t Jewish); and their creepy cousin Willie Collins, a Silicon Valley wunderkind, is paying the five sisters a little too much attention. And then there are Cincinnati’s newest and most eligible bachelors, handsome doctor and reality TV star Chip Bingley…and his utterly infuriating friend, neurosurgeon Fitzwilliam Darcy.
I have a serious love for P&P retellings in all of their iterations.  So, imagine my delight in finding out that one of my all time favorite authors is penning one!  Eligible is scheduled for release on April 26, 2016, and I can't wait!

What books are you waiting on this Wednesday??

The Lost Letters from Martha's Vineyard by Michael Callahan Blurb from Goodreads : A tantalizing novel of two women bound by blood but divided by a long-buried secret, and the island that holds the key to the fateful summer that changed everything forever. In 1959, Hollywood ingenue Mercy Welles seems to have the world at her feet. Far removed from her Nebraska roots, she has crafted herself into a glamorous Oscar-nominated actress engaged to an up-and-coming director… Until she shockingly vanishes without a trace, just as her career is taking off. Almost sixty years later, Kit O’Neill, a junior television producer in Manhattan, is packing up her recently deceased grandmother’s attic, only to discover a long-lost box of souvenirs that reveal that the grandmother who raised her and her sister Claire was, in fact, the mysterious Mercy Welles.
