Last Week I Read: This week was amazing!  I loved everything I read!  So exciting.  Expect reviews coming soon for Wait For You and Flat-Out Matt .  You all now how much I love Flat-Out Love by Jessica Park so I was anxious and excited to read the novella Flat-Out Matt with a few chapters from Matt's POV.  It was perfect and I did not want it to end!  I also reviewed Book One of the Georgetown Academy .  It was so good that I immediately bought and read Book Two and will definitely read Book Three this week! This Week I Plan to Read:  Link up below!   What are you reading?   What great books did you read last week?

Review: Georgetown Academy: Book One by Jessica Koosed Etting and Alyssa Embree Schwartz

Georgetown Academy: Book One by Jessica Koosed Etting and Alyssa Embree Schwartz   Blurb from G oodreads : It’s the beginning of a new political administration. That might not mean much at most high schools, but at Georgetown Academy, Washington D.C.’s most elite prep school, January 20th means new alliances, new flings, and new places to party. While freshmen—nicknamed “interns” for their willingness to jump into bed with anyone higher on the D.C. totem pole—navigate the not-so-friendly halls of GA searching for Algebra and Bio classes, the school’s lifers have other things on their minds. For self-proclaimed D.C. royalty Brinley Madison (of those Madisons), the first day of school is all about establishing the social hierarchy and playing the part of perfect political wife to her boyfriend, the outgoing Vice President’s son. Too bad he has a wandering eye that puts Bill Clinton’s to shame. Can she keep him, and her own secret vice, in check? Ellie Walker, Brinley’s be...

Swoon Thursday: Every Which Way (Sloan Brothers #1) by Calia Read

Swoon Thursday is a meme hosted by YABound .   From the book you’re currently reading, or one you just finished, tell us what made you SWOON. What got your heart pounding, your skin tingling, and your stomach fluttering. Today, I am spotlighting Every Which Way (Sloan Brothers #1)  by Calia Read , which I read last week!  This book was a bit infuriating because of the suspense/will they-won't they/who will she choose aspect!  However, there were definitely a few swoon-worthy moments, and my favorite is highlighted below (although I am not telling you who this moment was with to avoid spoilers): When he left her room tonight, she wanted his preference to be only her. His hands would only want her skin. He'd only fit perfectly with Severine. I liked Severine but she was definitely unpredictable !  The next book in the series definitely sounds intriguing.  Who are you swooning over this week?  Link up your Swoon below!

Waiting on Wednesday: Flat-Out Matt (Flat-Out Love #1.5) by Jessica Park

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine , that spotlights upcoming releases that you are eagerly anticipating. Today, I am waiting on  Flat-Out Matt (Flat-Out Love #1.5)  by Jessica Park !   Flat-Out Love was my favorite YA of last year so you can imagine how excited I got when I saw this on goodreads!! From Goodreads: From the author: "...it's NOT a sequel [to FLAT-OUT LOVE], and it's NOT a full book with a full story arc. It's about ten chapters (still figuring that out) from Matt's POV. Two prequel chapters, then retelling of some fan-favorite scenes, and then a bonus "jump" chapter with Matt and Julie. Not sure if that last chapter will be from his POV or Julie's, but it'll be steamy and fun. I'm calling this a "companion piece" for fans who know FOL really well." I love love love Matt and I am so excited to read some of my favorite scenes from Flat-Out Love in...

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? #1

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?  is a meme sponsored by Sheila at Book Journey where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week. Last Week I Read: You can read my review of A Moment by Marie Hall here .  I am sorry to say that the other books I read last week were all fairly disappointing -- none of them were my favorites or will probably merit reviews.   Every Which Way had potential and I will probably read the sequel because it ended on such a weird note but there was just something off about the book.  Still going to keep reading The Moreno Brothers series by Elizabeth Reyes because I love her 5th Street series and I've purchased all the books.   This Week I Plan to Read:  Link up below!   What are you reading?   What great books did you read last week?
