Swoon Thursday: Nothing Personal (The Kincaids #2) by Rosalind James

Swoon Thursday is a meme hosted by YABound .   From the book you’re currently reading, or one you just finished, tell us what made you SWOON. What got your heart pounding, your skin tingling, and your stomach fluttering. Today, I am spotlighting  Nothing Personal (The Kincaids #2)  by Rosalind James , which I devoured last week when it came out!  This book is an Adult contemporary that I absolutely loved!  I found Alec and Rae to be so, so good together! And now, on to the swoon: Desiree, I love you.  And I know I'm not a hero, although I wish I could be that for you, because you deserve a hero.  I'm sure you could look around and find a better man, someone who's always done right, someone with steel in his soul to match yours.  But I promise you this.  Nobody is ever going to admire you more than I do.  Nobody is ever going to be there for you the way I will.  And nobody is ever going to love you more....

Waiting on Wednesday: Third Lie's the Charm (The Liar Society #3) by Lisa Roecker and Laura Roecker

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine , that spotlights upcoming releases that you are eagerly anticipating. Today, I am waiting on  Third Lie's the Charm (The Liar Society #3) by Lisa Roecker and Laura Roecker !  I absolutely LOVED the first two books in this series,  The Liar Society (The Liar Society #1) and The Lies That Bind (The Liar Society #2) ,  and given the cliffhanger at the end of the last book, I cannot wait to read this! Recent Reads I Loved

Recent Reads I Loved!! I recently saw this post title on Jolene Perry's blog   (love her!) and I decided to do a similar post -- sorry for the radio silence but work is insane for me right now.  Hope to post some reviews soon!  In the meantime, the above books are my current 5 star books and you should read them!! p.s. Thief by Tarryn Fisher was everything I hoped it would be -- perfection!  Loved every line and I know it will be my #1 book for this year!

Waiting on Wednesday: Shooting Scars (The Artists Trilogy #2) by Karina Halle

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine , that spotlights upcoming releases that you are eagerly anticipating. Today, I am waiting on  Shooting Scars (The Artists Trilogy #2) by Karina Halle !  I absolutely LOVED the first book in this series, Sins & Needles , and given the cliffhanger at the end of it, I cannot wait to read this! From Goodreads: A second chance at first love.  There are a few things worth risking everything for - even your life. For Camden McQueen, this is one of them. Shooting Scars is the second book in The Artists Trilogy and is told from the dual POV of Camden and Ellie. The ending of Sins & Needles   was scary and I have no idea what will happen for Ellie and Camden, let alone Javier!  I can't wait to continue this crazy journey with Shooting Scars ! It is scheduled to be released May 13, 2013 !

Swoon Thursday: Wait for You (Wait for You #1) by J. Lynn

Swoon Thursday is a meme hosted by YABound .   From the book you’re currently reading, or one you just finished, tell us what made you SWOON. What got your heart pounding, your skin tingling, and your stomach fluttering. Today, I am spotlighting  Wait for You (Wait for You #1)  by J. Lynn (aka JLA) , which I devoured last week!  This book was a good NA contemporary, a genre of which I have read a ton!  But there is definitely something unique about Avery/Cam and their interactions.  And now, on to the swoon: WARNING! CONTAINS ADULT LANGUAGE Fuck, Avery. You think I don't want you? There's not a single part of you that I don't want, you understand? I want to be on you and inside of you. I want you against the wall, on the couch, in your bed, in my bed, and every fucking place I can possibly think of, and trust me, I have a vast imagination when it comes to these kinds of things. Don't ever doubt that I want you. That ...

Review: Flat-Out Matt (Flat-Out Love #1.5) by Jessica Park

Flat-Out Matt (Flat-Out Love #1.5)  by Jessica Park Blurb from G oodreads : Matt is a junior at MIT. He’s geeky, he's witty, he's brilliant. And he’s also very, very stupid. When beautiful, cool, insightful Julie moves in with Matt’s family, why (oh why!) does he pretend to be his absent brother Finn for her alleged benefit?  It seems harmless enough until her short-term stay becomes permanent. And until it snowballs into heart-squeezing insanity. And until he falls in love with Julie, and Julie falls in love with Finn.  But … Matt is the right one for her. If only he can make Julie see it. Without telling her the truth, without shattering them all. Particularly his fragile sister Celeste, who may need Julie the most. You saw Matt through Julie’s eyes in FLAT-OUT LOVE. Now go deeper into Matt’s world in this FLAT-OUT MATT novella. Live his side of the story, break when his heart breaks, and fall for the unlikely hero all over again. Take an emotional skydi...
