My Review:
I'm sad to say this may be my last Nancy Thayer, aside from her backlist. This was so overwrought and felt like it was stuck in the 1950s. I believe our politics don't align and I can't pretend I enjoyed this. All of the characters were insufferable. Hope you have better luck!
Was it true that the oldest child was always the most worried one? Lydia was the oldest of three and she was pretty sure that was true. Her younger sister, Florie, wanted to travel around the world, so she was getting a degree in business that would prepare her for working in an international company. The youngest child, her brother, Lucas, had known since he could walk and talk that he would join his father running the Parsons Insurance Company.Which wasn't fair.
