I really enjoyed the last book I read by this author and this one was great, too. I've always want to go to Goa since seeing Bride & Prejudice and the chapters set there were awesome! As were the chapter set in Banglaore -- I liked hearing about the Indian judicial system and process as a backdrop to second chance romance. Definitely give this one a try!!
Everyone at work knew Naina Shetty was the queen of confrontation. No one could be a good lawyer without easily facing things head-on, and Naina was the best senior legal associate on the Akhtar, Kumble & Co. team. But right now, as she crouched under her perfectly tidy desk, hoping the two short walls of her cubicle hid her from view, confrontation seemed like the most terrifying thing in the world. She peered through the glass windows of her boss's office in the distance, recognizing the handsome not-at-all-a-stranger shaking Iqbal Akhtar's hand, and whispered, "Shit."
