I liked this but not as much as I expected considering I usually like bts hollywood romances.  It also felt too similar to recent books I've read but not as good.... While I loved this author's debut, her last book wasn't my favorite.  I would rank this better than her last but not as great I was expecting.  Still definitely some spicy scenes and a very satisfying ending.

I let her hold me for longer than I probably should, telling myself she needs to deliver this comfort as much as I need to receive it. It makes me feel better about being over thirty and still needing my mom. Although, in her very own words, fuck the haters; you're never too old to need your mom.
