My Review:
This was just disappointing -- I thought it would be kind of thrilling but it was just boring. The characters were not well written. Especially for a book set during one day . . . ! I could see it being more of a screenplay/idea for a movie than a successful series of books. I probably wouldn't read more if a sequel came out.
The sun was high as Emma closed the door of her flat and headed out. It was a perfect October day--crisp and clear, the sky an almost painfully intense shade of blue.
