Waiting on Wednesday: Mr. Kiss and Tell (Veronica Mars #2) by Rob Thomas and Jennifer Graham

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that you are eagerly anticipating.

Today, I am waiting on:
Mr. Kiss and Tell (Veronica Mars #2) by Rob Thomas and Jennifer Graham!!

From Goodreads:
In the second book in the New York Times bestselling mystery series, Veronica Mars is back with a case that will expose the hidden workings of one of Neptune’s most murderous locations.

The Neptune Grand has always been the seaside town’s ritziest hotel, despite the shady dealings and high-profile scandals that seem to follow its elite guests. When a woman claims that she was brutally assaulted in one of its rooms and left for dead by a staff member, the owners know that they have a potential powder keg on their hands. They turn to Veronica to disprove—or prove—the woman's story.

The case is a complicated mix of hard facts, mysterious occurrences, and uncooperative witnesses. The hotel refuses to turn over its reservation list and the victim won’t divulge who she was meeting that night. Add in the facts that the attack happened months ago, the victim’s memory is fuzzy, and there are holes in the hotel’s surveillance system, and Veronica has a convoluted mess on her hands. As she works to fill in the missing pieces, it becomes clear that someone is lying—but who? And why?
I am a HUGE Veronica Mars fan!  I was so sad when the series ended and the recent movie was SO, SO good!  But what is even cooler is that the first book in this series, The Thousand- Dollar Tan Line, picks up right where the movie ended!  So, I can't wait for book 2, which was supposed to be released this year but got pushed back into January.  Still, so excited! Mr. Kiss and Tell is scheduled for release on January 20, 2015 and you can pre-order here!!

What books are you waiting on this Wednesday??

  1. OOoh nice! I need to read these! I actually need to finish season 3 first and get the movie too! I have Amazon Prime and was watching them, then suddenly the programs used to watch the videos stopped working and I was like what?! Might need to try again when I have more time, but I was sooooo angry. It just kept thinking and thinking and thinking and I'm like I need to watch more of season 3!!!!

Review: History of Wolves by Emily Fridlund

History of Wolves by Emily Fridlund

Blurb from Goodreads:
Linda has an idiosyncratic home life: her parents live in abandoned commune cabins in northern Minnesota and are hanging on to the last vestiges of a faded counter-culture world. The kids at school call her 'Freak', or 'Commie'. She is an outsider in all things. Her understanding of the world comes from her observations at school, where her teacher is accused of possessing child pornography, and from watching the seemingly ordinary life of a family she babysits for. Yet while the accusation against the teacher is perhaps more innocent than it seemed at first, the ordinary family turns out to be more complicated. As Linda insinuates her way into the family's orbit, she realises they are hiding something. If she tells the truth, she will lose the normal family life she is beginning to enjoy with them; but if she doesn't, their son may die. Superbly-paced and beautifully written, HISTORY OF WOLVES is an extrao…
