Swoon Thursday: Nothing Personal (The Kincaids #2) by Rosalind James

Swoon Thursday is a meme hosted by YABound.

From the book you’re currently reading, or one you just finished, tell us what made you SWOON. What got your heart pounding, your skin tingling, and your stomach fluttering.

Today, I am spotlighting Nothing Personal (The Kincaids #2) by Rosalind James, which I devoured last week when it came out!  This book is an Adult contemporary that I absolutely loved!  I found Alec and Rae to be so, so good together! And now, on to the swoon:

Desiree, I love you.  And I know I'm not a hero, although I wish I could be that for you, because you deserve a hero.  I'm sure you could look around and find a better man, someone who's always done right, someone with steel in his soul to match yours.  But I promise you this.  Nobody is ever going to admire you more than I do.  Nobody is ever going to be there for you the way I will.  And nobody is ever going to love you more.  At those things, I'm the best, and I always will be.
So swoon-worthy, right?! I have very quickly devoured every book written by Rosalind James and have loved every single one!  Nothing Personal definitely adds a new element with a bit of suspense in addition to the very lovely romance and relationship between Alec and Rae.  Highly recommend for Adult contemporary!  Who are you swooning over this week? Link up your Swoon below!

Review: The Lost Letters from Martha's Vineyard by Michael Callahan

The Lost Letters from Martha's Vineyard by Michael Callahan Blurb from Goodreads : A tantalizing novel of two women bound by blood but divided by a long-buried secret, and the island that holds the key to the fateful summer that changed everything forever. In 1959, Hollywood ingenue Mercy Welles seems to have the world at her feet. Far removed from her Nebraska roots, she has crafted herself into a glamorous Oscar-nominated actress engaged to an up-and-coming director… Until she shockingly vanishes without a trace, just as her career is taking off. Almost sixty years later, Kit O’Neill, a junior television producer in Manhattan, is packing up her recently deceased grandmother’s attic, only to discover a long-lost box of souvenirs that reveal that the grandmother who raised her and her sister Claire was, in fact, the mysterious Mercy Welles.
