Top Ten Books On My Spring 2013 TBR list!

Essentially, this spring is going to be great because so many of my favorite series are going to have new books released. A few of these books have already come out but they are at the top of my spring TBR. I am probably most excited to read Date Me by Jillian Dodd, JLA's new NA Wait For You and the latest in the Troubleshooters series by Suzanne Brockmann!!

  2. I'm probably most excited for Dead Ever After. Her last few books in this series haven't been my favorite (at all) BUT I'm really hoping she ends this series on a good note.
    Thanks for stopping by!

  7. I keep my blog to YA, but believe me Dead Ever After is absolutely on my spring must read list. Wait For You looks so amazing, and I haven't been paying attention lately, so I just bought it. The authors owe you some commission on that. Thanks for stopping by my TTT. I'm following.

I love this trope, sub-genre, setting: My Best Friend's Brother/My Brother's Best Friend

I Love This Trope, Sub-Genre, Setting is a new feature on my blog in which I discuss a trope, sub-genre or setting that I love and tell you about books that are shining examples of said trope, sub-genre or setting.  Feel free to play along and please let me know about your favorite books in this realm and whether you like this trope, sub-genre and/or setting as much as I do! Today I am spotlighting the trope of:  My Best Friend's Brother/My Brother's Best Friend , which I would define as any book where the heroine either has a crush on or falls for her brother's best friend or her best friend's brother. I have to confess that I love this trope in nearly all of its iterations!  I have a younger brother so I never got to crush on any of his friends but it's fun reading about that and it's equally as fun as reading about falling for your best friend's brother -- instant sisters!  I know there are a ton

Review: The Cave Dwellers by Christina McDowell

The Cave Dwellers by Christina McDowell Blurb from Goodreads : A compulsively readable novel in the vein of The Bonfire of the Vanities—by way of The Nest—about what Washington, DC’s high society members do away from the Capitol building and behind the closed doors of their suburban mansions. Their old money and manner lurk through the cobblestone streets of Georgetown, Kalorama and Capitol Hill. They only socialize within their inner circle, turning a blind eye to those who come and go on the political merry-go-round. Parents and their children living life free of consequences in a gilded existence of power and privi
