"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine , that spotlights upcoming releases that you are eagerly anticipating. Today, I am waiting on  Breakable  by Tammara Webber  -- a new book by one of my favorite authors!  If you read Easy , Breakable is prequel about Lucas!  From Goodreads  and Tammara's Blog : He was lost and alone. Then he found her. And the future seemed more fragile than ever. As a child, Landon Lucas Maxfield believed his life was perfect and looked forward to a future filled with promise — until tragedy tore his family apart and made him doubt everything he ever believed. All he wanted was to leave the past behind. When he met Jacqueline Wallace, his desire to be everything she needed came so easy… As easy as it could be for a man who learned that the soul is breakable and that everything you hoped for could be ripped away in a heartbeat. Note: "Breakable is not a sequel. It's a preque

Swoon Thursday: Unleashing Mr. Darcy by Teri Wilson

Swoon Thursday is a meme hosted by YABound .   From the book you’re currently reading, or one you just finished, tell us what made you SWOON. What got your heart pounding, your skin tingling, and your stomach fluttering. Today, I am spotlighting  Unleashing Mr. Darcy  by Teri Wilson , which I am reading this week!  This book is a wonderful, wonderful Adult contemporary, which is a retelling of Pride & Prejudice set in the dog show world.  It sounds a bit unorthodox but I am loving this book so much.   And now, on to the swoon: If that wasn't an invitation to be kissed, and to be kissed thoroughly, Donovan didn't know what was.  Knowing that she wanted it, he had a mind to make her wait for it. "Let me get this for you."  He scooped the cream off her nose and offered it to her.    Without breaking their gaze, she licked his fingertip.  At the sight of that tongue . . . those lips . . . all thoughts of making her wait flew right out

Top Ten Books I'd Recommend To a New Adult Fan

Top Ten Tuesday  is hosted by the fab ladies at  The Broke and the Bookish !  Today I am spotlighting the Top Ten Books I'd Recommend to a New Adult Fan !  I have read a lot of books in this genre, which I loosely define as books set in college and/or concerning characters 18+.  Below are the books I love the most in this genre: 1.  There is no one better than Jessica Park when it comes to NA in my opinion!   Left Drowning is one of my top three books for this year and Flat-Out Love was my top NA pick for last year -- Flat-Out Matt was the perfect companion book! 2.  I just finished the first two books in the All for the Game series by Nora Sakavic and I could not put either book down!  These are not love stories but they are gritty and told from a unique male POV.  The first book The Foxhole Court (All for the Game) is free for kindle and I highly recommend the series! 3.  Another excellent NA series is the Just One Day
