Top Ten Series I'd Like To Start (but haven't yet...)

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the fab ladies at The Broke and the Bookish!

Ten Series I'd Like To Start But Haven't Yet

  1. Mara Dyer series by Michelle Hodkin (I hear it's wonderful and I have bought the first two books so this should happen soon!)
  2. Too Far series by Abbi Glines (this is the only Abbi Glines series I haven't read yet and, again, I've bought the first two books)
  3. The Grisha series by Leigh Bardugo (keep reading reviews and it sounds so good!)
  4. Covenant series by Jennifer L. Armentrout (you would think this would be a no brainer consider how much I love JLA and the Lux series)
  5. Elemental Assasin series by Jennifer Estep (again, I've bought the first three books in the series and hear it is phenomenal!)
  6. Revenants series by Amy Plum (just bought the first book as kindle deal of the day over the weekend)
  7. Kissed by Death series by Tara A. Fuller (another one I've seen all over the blogosphere but haven't read yet)
  8. His Fair Assasin series by Robin LaFevers (I'm not typically into this genre but saw it on so many top 10 lists last year)
  9. Everneath series by Brodi Ashton (see above #8)
  10. The Perfect Game series by J. Sterling (read Chance Encounters by her and loved it!)
Super excited to be participating in this series/meme on Tuesdays!
Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Everneath almost made my list too. I read and LOVED Shadow and Bone. I went all fangirl on it on my blog. One of my favorite books ever. Great list!

  2. Thanks for visiting Jorie's Reads! Now, I see 10 more series to add to my TBR list :)! Happy Reading!

  3. Oh my goodness, as you know Abbi Glines is a wonderful writer!! Her Too Far series is super good!

  4. I highly recommend the Mara Dyer series!! Awesome.

  5. The Grisha Series is a must-read! I loved Everneath, too. Great list!

  6. I love Everneath and Everbound. I hope when you do read it that you'll love it too! :D I'd also like to read the Mara Dyer series. I own the first book. I just need to get to it.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

  7. I recently just read Shadow and Bone, and I LOVED it. It's such a great read! And I love the Covenant series. Absolutely fantastic. I also want to read the Mara Dyer series. I have the first book on my shelf, but I haven't gotten around to it. Great list!

  8. I haven't heard of any of these, though I might check them out at some point if I can ever reduce my to read pile. Thanks for stopping by my blog.

  9. I've read the first of the Too Far series, it was pretty good. JLA's other work (beside the Lux series) is on my TBR list! I just finished Grave Mercy this past week and LOVED it! Definitely need to check that out!

Check out my TTT. New follower by the way!

  10. So many good ones on here! I agree that Jennifer Armentrout is fantastic, and I love the Mara Dyer series. I just read the second book in Leigh Bardugo's Shadow and Bone series, and it's just as great as the first. Hope you get to those soon. Great list! Thanks for checking out mine.

    1. Thank you Lauren - I love your blog so much! I have subscribed to it via e-mail for awhile

Hopefully will read Shadow and Bone soon!!

  11. I need to read The Covenant series, the Grisha series, and His Fair Assassin series too! I love JLA too, but for some reason I am very hesitant to read The Covenant books. No idea why. I just picked up Shadow and Bone the other day. I'm excited to start it. Everyone says it's AH-Mazing!

    1. I feel the same way about the Covenant series -- maybe because I love the Lux series so much I don't want to be disappointed? I don't know but I have been meaning to try it

  12. How could I forget of The Grisha series?! Oh my god, now I see how many series I actually have to stat ^^'

Hope you get to read them soon :)

Thank for stopping by my blog.

    Read Into Hiding

  13. Please please please read Covenant and Mara Dyer soon. Both of those are absolutely fantastic.

  14. I really liked Everneath but it was the sequel that made me fall in love with the series. I loved the first Mara Dyer book but haven't had a chance to read the second yet. I hope you get to read some of these soon! :)

Thanks for stopping by my post!

  15. Your list just reminded me of so many books I forgot! His Fair Assassin, Grisha, Mara Dyer...
I've got Fallen Too Far on my kindle but had no time to read it yet. I really liked Everneath :)
Great list! Thanks for checking out mine yesterday!

  16. I haven't read ANY of those! (I'm not too into paranormal). I want to read the Perfect Chemistry series.

I love this trope, sub-genre, setting: My Best Friend's Brother/My Brother's Best Friend

I Love This Trope, Sub-Genre, Setting is a new feature on my blog in which I discuss a trope, sub-genre or setting that I love and tell you about books that are shining examples of said trope, sub-genre or setting.  Feel free to play along and please let me know about your favorite books in this realm and whether you like this trope, sub-genre and/or setting as much as I do! Today I am spotlighting the trope of:  My Best Friend's Brother/My Brother's Best Friend , which I would define as any book where the heroine either has a crush on or falls for her brother's best friend or her best friend's brother. I have to confess that I love this trope in nearly all of its iterations!  I have a younger brother so I never got to crush on any of his friends but it's fun reading about that and it's equally as fun as reading about falling for your best friend's brother -- instant sisters!  I know there are a ton
