Waiting on Wednesday: Shooting Scars (The Artists Trilogy #2) by Karina Halle

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine , that spotlights upcoming releases that you are eagerly anticipating. Today, I am waiting on  Shooting Scars (The Artists Trilogy #2) by Karina Halle !  I absolutely LOVED the first book in this series, Sins & Needles , and given the cliffhanger at the end of it, I cannot wait to read this! From Goodreads: A second chance at first love.  There are a few things worth risking everything for - even your life. For Camden McQueen, this is one of them. Shooting Scars is the second book in The Artists Trilogy and is told from the dual POV of Camden and Ellie. The ending of Sins & Needles   was scary and I have no idea what will happen for Ellie and Camden, let alone Javier!  I can't wait to continue this crazy journey with Shooting Scars ! It is scheduled to be released May 13, 2013 !

Top Ten Favorite Books I Read Before I Was A Blogger

Top Ten Tuesday  is hosted by the fab ladies at  The Broke and the Bookish ! Top Ten Favorite Books I Read Before I Was A Blogger This is an easy one since I haven't been blogging long.  Some of these are YA series, some stand alone adult -- but each of them holds a place in my heart and memory for books I loved before blogging.  Also, I really love Liz Reinhardt and Anne Eliot!  I recommend everything by both of them!

Swoon Thursday: Wait for You (Wait for You #1) by J. Lynn

Swoon Thursday is a meme hosted by YABound .   From the book you’re currently reading, or one you just finished, tell us what made you SWOON. What got your heart pounding, your skin tingling, and your stomach fluttering. Today, I am spotlighting  Wait for You (Wait for You #1)  by J. Lynn (aka JLA) , which I devoured last week!  This book was a good NA contemporary, a genre of which I have read a ton!  But there is definitely something unique about Avery/Cam and their interactions.  And now, on to the swoon: WARNING! CONTAINS ADULT LANGUAGE Fuck, Avery. You think I don't want you? There's not a single part of you that I don't want, you understand? I want to be on you and inside of you. I want you against the wall, on the couch, in your bed, in my bed, and every fucking place I can possibly think of, and trust me, I have a vast imagination when it comes to these kinds of things. Don't ever doubt that I want you. That is not what this is abo

Review: Flat-Out Matt (Flat-Out Love #1.5) by Jessica Park

Flat-Out Matt (Flat-Out Love #1.5)  by Jessica Park Blurb from G oodreads : Matt is a junior at MIT. He’s geeky, he's witty, he's brilliant. And he’s also very, very stupid. When beautiful, cool, insightful Julie moves in with Matt’s family, why (oh why!) does he pretend to be his absent brother Finn for her alleged benefit?  It seems harmless enough until her short-term stay becomes permanent. And until it snowballs into heart-squeezing insanity. And until he falls in love with Julie, and Julie falls in love with Finn.  But … Matt is the right one for her. If only he can make Julie see it. Without telling her the truth, without shattering them all. Particularly his fragile sister Celeste, who may need Julie the most. You saw Matt through Julie’s eyes in FLAT-OUT LOVE. Now go deeper into Matt’s world in this FLAT-OUT MATT novella. Live his side of the story, break when his heart breaks, and fall for the unlikely hero all over again. Take an emotional skydive for

Waiting on Wednesday: Date Me (The Keatyn Chronicles #3) by Jillian Dodd

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine , that spotlights upcoming releases that you are eagerly anticipating. Today, I am waiting on  Date Me (The Keatyn Chronicles #3) by Jillian Dodd !  I absolutely LOVE the Keatyn Chronicles  and I am so excited that the next book in the series comes out next week!!! From Goodreads: I’m not scripting my life anymore.  I’m living it. I’m done with the God of all Hotties.  I’m going to give my heart to the boy who I think deserves it. The boy whose kisses are hotter than molten lava.  The boy who offered me the key to his heart. The boy who asked me to Homecoming in a big, sexy way. There are so many things to look forward to.  Parties at the Cave. Homecoming festivities. Drama Tryouts. Shopping trips to NY.  But things aren't always as perfect as they seem. I find out that my best friend has been keeping a secret from me. N ot that I can blame him.  I have sec

Top Ten Characters I Would Crush On If I Were Also A Fictional Character

Top Ten Tuesday  is hosted by the fab ladies at  The Broke and the Bookish ! 1.   Lucas from Devoured by Emily Snow is my #1 book boyfriend -- rock star extraordinaire and so, so good. 2.   There is something so endearing about Marcus Flutie from the Jessica Darling series .  I liked him from the first page he appeared on and continuing throughout the series. 3.  I absolutely love The Troubleshooter series by Suzanne Brockmann about SEAL Team Sixteen but  Ken "WildCard" Karmody from Out of Control takes hero/nerd to a new level . 4.   Daemon from The Lux series   by JLA is indescribable. His relationship with Kat in the last book, Opal , made me melt! Aliens can totally be hot! 5.   Matt from Flat-Out Love   is so strong and yet tender in this book -- and he's pretty much the best brother ever.   6.   Darcy (in any incarnation) is always going to make this list.  I particularly love the Darcy in Bridget Jones
