I hadn't read other books in this series before starting this one but now I'm going to read them all! So that should tell that this was delightful and just what you want from NA sports romance! This was also a new to me author who really impressed me with genuine characters, a unique storyline and enough steam to make this great! Give this a try!
He watches me with the kind of intensity that could melt the paint on the walls. It could curl the pages of the books. We've been in this room so many times, but never like this. Not when he's staring at me like he's starved himself and the only bit of relief he's gotten is from the sight of me. Even now, when I can see his need bursting from the seams, he doesn't move. He waits patiently.
