Believe it or not, this was my first time listening (reading) a book in this series. I could still follow along and still enjoyed it immensely. If you wanted a more rugged, outdoors Stone Barrington type of narrative, this will fit the bill.  I am still sad about Stuart Woods and was looking for something escapist and this did it for me!  I am going to go start the series at the beginning now.  Very good -- give it a try!
